Picture it…2019. We’re all riding high on the wave that was Facebook advertising. At times, it seemed as though every campaign you created was touched by King Midas. Advertisers confidently rolled into 2020 on a high as eCommerce exploded several times over due to pandemic shutdowns and pure boredom. Sure there were rumors of a coming change to iOS that would have an impact on our campaigns. However, we all wrote this off as a minor hurdle that Facebook was sure to overcome. I mean…they’re Facebook right? Or Meta? Or…idk anymore.

Then something happened. Some like to refer to it as the year 2021. We started off on a high although we could clearly start to see that something wasn’t quite like 2020. We assumed it was a shift in consumer behavior, workers returning to the office, inflation, et. Al. Although those factors did play a part in the decline, we may have overstated their impact while reducing the amount of liability that should have been attributed to Facebook.

You’ve viewed hundreds of YouTube videos, following the “so-called” Facebook marketing gurus.
